Save the Date for this year’s Green Corn Ceremony

being organized by Nibezun, Bomazeen Land Trust & Niweskok! The Green Corn Ceremony will be hosted at Nibezun on October 14th from 10am-4pm as we give thanks to our Corn Mother. Highlights for the day include a Medicine Bundle & Corn Husk doll workshop, corn braiding, food demos, opportunities to learn the Green Corn Song and Dance, and a community potluck and social featuring the Burnurwurbskek Singers (Penobscot), Flying Sturgeons (Abenaki at Odanak), and Cihpolaq Ehpicik (Passamaquoddy).
